How? 4) Discuss the attributes of God’s goodness mentioned in vs. 4 of His grace towards us, his richness & kindness that leads to our repentance. What should be our approach with our trespassers? 5) What persistent nature of heart can lead to the wrath of God? Look in the Bible for instances when wrath of God had come over people? 6) Hab 2:4 mentions that “The Just shall live by faith” What does Romans 2:10, Philippians 2:12 speak of? Differentiate ‘Works’ of the flesh to that of working out our salvation according to the word, in response to the Grace which is given freely to us. 7) Read Mathew 7:21, James 1:22-25. What is the ‘Doing’ that the scriptures mentions? What can God disregard even when it may seem as good works? · When it is for our personal interest · To gain worldly acceptance · When we have not understood the true meaning of the finished work of the cross & do good work in our flesh. · When the motive is not for His kingdom.(I Corinthians ch-3:13-15) 8) Read Luke 6:47-49 read the parable of the two builders. Jesus mentions that hearing & disobeying the word of God leads to destructions in our life. What fresh insights does this scripture give us? 9) .Based upon this study, what do you need prayer for? Write your needed prayer requests down and spend some time bringing them before the Lord in prayer.
